Frequently Asked Questions

Does the Warhammer Alliance continue to supply resources free of charge?

Due to the number of schools and groups we support we can’t continue to provide resources after the initial resource pack. When setting up a club we advise making a plan before it starts about funding it going forward. For advice about funding resources, please look in the Leaders Guide for more information

My students are only interested in Warhammer 40,000, can you adapt the pack to accommodate this?

The Warhammer Alliance Resource Pack has been developed exclusively to introduce new starters to both of our games systems as we believe allowing young people to have a choice is the key to their enjoyment of the hobby. We cannot make any alterations to the pack or offer other products as we have to remain fair to all schools and clubs throughout the world. If you have a group of young people already with experience of the hobby when you start, we recommend using the resource pack to recruit more members into your club.

I'm a Primary school can I apply?

No, Primary schools are not eligible to join the programme.

For a number of reasons, the Warhammer Alliance will now be focussing our efforts on providing amazing experiences for young people in education between the ages of 12-18. As such, we will no longer be accepting applications from groups outside of this age range. This will help us to ensure that the programme is suitable and sustainable in the long term.

Whilst you are still of course welcome to run an independent Warhammer club in your organisation, this means that the Warhammer Alliance will not retain your information, provide resource packs for use within your group, and your club will not be considered to be part of the Warhammer Alliance programme.

You will still be able to access all of the downloadable resources on our website to support you in running your club, should you wish to use these. Our store teams are also always on hand to provide you with any hobby guidance you may need to facilitate your club.

Individual young people are also welcome in our stores as long as they are accompanied by an adult, however, we will not be able to host group activities for anyone below the age of 12.

I home school my child, can I apply for a pack?

The Warhammer Alliance operates under strict safeguarding procedures and we cannot support groups based at a private address. If you are a homeschool family, we suggest setting up a group in conjunction with your local library and supporting them to run the club.

Can we get a discount if we are members of the Warhammer Alliance?

Unfortunately not, we don’t offer any discount for Warhammer Alliance members, we do however offer extra support and activities in store to help all young people work through their hobby as well as dedicated Warhammer Alliance times within our stores where they can take part in their hobby with like-minded peers.
