Earn your Battle Honours

The Battle Honours programme is the next step in the journey for anyone that has completed the activities in the Resource Pack. Continue the journey into the worlds of Warhammer by taking part in over fifty activities, and each set of activities completed will earn an exclusive reward from the local Warhammer store. The Resource Pack has enough material in it that you can complete the programme using only the materials inside, along with a little bit of hard work and creative thinking.

Getting started with Battle Honours

Once young people have completed the Warhammer Alliance Resource Pack tasks, the Battle Honours programme is a great next step on their Warhammer journey. Battle Honours allows players of all ages to collect exclusive rewards while learning about the five keys to the Warhammer hobby: Collect, Build, Paint, Play, and Read. There are over fifty activities to complete with the support of Warhammer store staff.

Battle Honours in Your Warhammer Club

There are many ways to integrate the Battle Honours programme into your club. Our store staff are happy to support your group’s participation in Battle Honours using the booklets you receive with the resource pack.

Visit Your Local Store

You could encourage your club members to visit their nearest Warhammer store once they’ve started the program. This way, they can ask the store staff for help and advice, as well as start getting their official stamps in their booklet. If you wish to take your club there on a trip, please contact the store manager first, as not all stores have the space or staff to accommodate large groups.

Run Battle Honours-themed Sessions

The Battle Honours programme is divided into sections based on the keys of the Warhammer hobby: Collect, Build, Paint, Play, and Read. You could plan your club sessions around these themes. However, be mindful that not all sections may require the same number of sessions, and some, like Collect, may even be best completed in members’ own time.

You could run several consecutive sessions for each theme before moving on to the next or circle through the themes. If you would like further advice, contact your store manager or Warhammer Alliance coordinator.

Plan a Group Challenge

To help with your members’ activities, you could run an event for them to participate in. This could be a painting challenge, a game tournament, or anything else you can think of. This is also a good opportunity for young people to socialise and have fun whilst working on some of their key academic skills. Consider creating and printing certificates to celebrate their achievements. Backgrounds for you to do this are available from the Resources page.

Engage With Parents And Carers

You may be surprised by how many parents have been involved in the Warhammer hobby in the past. Many might even have a stash of old books and miniatures stored away that they would be willing to donate to the club to help young people complete their Battle Honours tasks!

The Battle Honours programme also makes it easy for parents or carers without any experience of Warhammer to get involved! Those who wish to help support their child and your club could volunteer to run sessions, build terrain out of household supplies, find Warhammer books in local libraries, etc.
