Warhammer Skills Programme:

Work towards the Skills Section of the Duke of Edinburgh’s award with Warhammer. Warhammer is an approved activity provider for the DofE and all of our UK stores are able to offer assessment and guidance towards completing your award. You will need to spend an average of 1 hour a week in your local Warhammer store or at a Warhammer Club learning and developing your skills in model making and painting.

About the Programme

The Warhammer Skills programme is open to anyone working towards their DofE skill. Whether you are a beginner or a more experienced Warhammer hobbyist, there’s always something new to learn. You will be supplied with a Battle Honours booklet, along with a guide on how to use it to complete your award. You can preview these here Your assessor will provide guidance for you throughout your journey, and, if you are completing your award in store*, our staff will be on hand to guide you, and provide you with rewards for completing different elements of the programme. *Warhammer Alliance can only provide an assessor's report to candidates if they have completed most of the required work in a Warhammer store.

Who can participate

Duke of Edinburgh's Award

The DofE is the world’s leading youth achievement award, giving millions of 14-24 year olds the opportunity to be the very best they can be.

There are three levels of the programme that can lead to a Bronze, Silver or Gold Duke of Edinburgh’s Award. The main differences between them are the minimum length of time they take to complete, how challenging they are and the minimum age you can start. Each award requires young people to develop themselves in four areas.

What is Warhammer?

The Warhammer hobby has something for every young person!

If you are new to Warhammer and want a hands on hobby experience before you choose it for your Skill, you can have a go for free in any Warhammer store. Simply use our Store Finder to locate your nearest Warhammer store and call to book a Warhammer Skills model painting demonstration.*

* Please note participation space may be limited in your chosen store. These sessions are only available in Warhammer stores, not independent stockists.
